A tapestry was created in 2007 to celebrate the city's millennium. The six-meter-long work, which required the combined talents of forty people and 20,000 hours of labor, is impressive for its attention to detail. The central figure represents the sleeping Jesse. He is recognizable by the tree trunk protruding from his body. According to the Bible, he is the father of King David and one of Christ's ancestors. The figure is a reproduction of the wooden sculpture on display in the church.
