Travel Guide Yoron-Tō

This island is beautiful and has one of the most beautiful bays in Japan. It is known to be a real tropical paradise with white sandy beaches. It is also ideal for water sports. The island is also very pleasant to walk around and you can go around it by bicycle in 3 to 4 hours. The landscapes are sculpted by the production of sugar cane. You can find there the Yoron-yaki which is a local and quite beautiful pottery, not very expensive. You can visit the production center located in the northeast of Chabana, the main urban area of the island. You can reach the island by ferry (arrival near Chabana) or by plane.
