FUJITA MEMORIAL GARDEN
This beautiful garden, opened to the public in 1991, extends over two hectares in the heart of the city. Designed in the landscape style of the Edo period, it was first owned by Kenichi Fujita, an illustrious native of the city. The garden is divided into an upper part, offering a breathtaking view of Mount Iwaki, and a plain featuring a pond, waterfalls and winding bridges. There's also an elegant Western mansion housing a teahouse and a Japanese house. In spring, the area is prized for its weeping cherry blossoms.
