Here you can relax in hot springs while enjoying the splendor of Hokkaido's natural beauty. Depending on the season, visitors can enjoy the soft greenery in summer and the warm colors of the leaves in autumn. Besides its onsen, the town is also popular for its two waterfalls which can be reached by car or by hiking. The public transportation system is poor in the area.
