Moored at the end of Sankei-en Park, this ship is a great attraction for children. The ship Hikawa Maru made its first voyage on May 22, 1930. Its regular service allowed travelers at the time to go from Yokohama to Vancouver and Seattle. Decommissioned in 1960, this ship made the Yokohama-Seattle crossing for more than thirty years. Note also the possibility to walk along the Yamashita-kōen waterfront for more than a kilometer, a pleasant experience especially at nightfall.
