Monument Valley hike from the View Hotel and loop around West Mitten Butte, with or without a guide
This beautiful hike starts next to the View Hotel and loops around West Mitten Butte. This is the only hike in Monument Valley that can be done without a guide, either on foot or by bike. The Wildcat Trail is a loop of about 4 kilometers. More than a simple hike, the Wildcat Trail allows you to better understand what the Americans experienced during the conquest of the West. It takes about 2 to 3 hours to complete this loop. It is strongly recommended to go there in the spring or fall.

Randonnée au pied des buttes
Le sentier Wildcat Trail est la seule randonnée que vous pourrez faire à Monument Valley sans devoir être accompagné d'un guide. La diffuculté est assez simple, par contre il y fait très chaud. Pas de point d'eau ni d'ombre, par contre c'est un moment magique de marcher dans le sable orange et de se retrouver tout près de ces fameuses buttes. Il faut la faire très tôt le matin, après le lever du soleil ou en fin de journée selon la période.
