CANYON RIDES

Horseback riding

Canyon Rides offers guided horseback rides in Zion National Park in two formats. The first ride (1 hour) is a walk along the Virgin River. The second tour is a 3-hour ride along the Sand Beach Trail, a several-mile trail with a 300-foot elevation gain. This walk will give you a spectacular view of the southern end of Zion. A great experience. There are several times during the day. Canyon Rides also offers other tours at Grand Canyon (North Rim) and Bryce Canyon.

THE NARROWS

Hiking

After the first 1,600 m of Riverside Walk, the walk takes place in water, often up to the knees. There are no groomed trails, and the only path is the river. It's very important to check with the Visitor Center in advance not only about weather conditions, but also about the difficulty of the hike and the equipment needed to brave the river's cold waters.
