A short trail that leads to the pine trees of the same name, which are a few thousand years old. It can be inaccessible in winter.
This short trail takes you to the 1,800-year-old pine trees of the same name. Accessible from Rainbow Point at the southern end of the park, it winds through the forest at the top of this highest part of the park, reaching an elevation of over 7,000 feet. This magnificent forest is dominated by blue spruce, Douglas fir and white fir. The animal presence is very important. Remember to observe well, you can see many birds and squirrels. Be careful, because the trail can be inaccessible in the middle of winter because of the snow.
