The largest of all the temples of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Salt Lake City.
The main structure of Temple Square is this temple, which was built from 1853 to 1892, after the Prophet Brigham Young determined its location on the day he arrived in Salt Lake City. Today, it is the largest of all the temples of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The towers, ramparts and buttresses are all references to the foundations of the Mormon faith. Although only the faithful can enter, you can appreciate the perfection and the architectural regularity from the outside.

Salt Lake Temple : découverte de la communauté
Le site où se tient le Temple Mormon de Salt Lake City est un grand domaine comprenant des lieux de rassemblement différents. Peut-être car nous étions en circuit organisé, nous avons pu visiter l’« Assembly Hall » et le « Tabernacle », guidées par deux représentantes de la communauté mormone. Elles nous ont également présenté leur communauté, leurs us et coutumes et ont répondu à nos questions. C’était un moment d’échange réellement intéressant. Je recommande la visite guidée, si tant est qu’elle puisse s’effectuer pour des personnes individuelles.
