Badwater Basin, with a highest point of 86 m below sea level, almost gathering to a skating rink
Just park and walk for 5 minutes to discover an expanse that at first glance almost resembles an ice rink. Culminating at 86 m below sea level, Badwater Basin is the lowest point in North America. It takes its name from an anecdote. While mapping the area, a surveyor tried to get his mule to drink water from the basin; the mule refused, as the liquid was too salty. As a result, the owner marked the spring as having bad water. An unmissable landscape!

On peut marcher dans la vallée sur le désert de sel et admirer l'étendue de blanc à l'horizon. Au mois de mai, le sel était très présent contrairement à l'été où il semble moins présent.
