Zabriskie Point with a parking lot is one of the most famous viewpoints in Death Valley Park

Accessible from the parking lot or via the hike through Golden Canyon, Zabriskie Point is a must-see in the park. Almost lunar in appearance, the landscape has been so immortalized that it is now one of the most famous viewpoints in Death Valley. The site gets crowded at sunset, so to ensure the best possible spot, arrive early. Then, simply ignore the other viewers and get lost in the sea of golden and brown landforms that are available to you, undulating under the colors of the sky.

A l'entrée de la death valley si vous 1rrivez par Las Vegas. Juste magnifique. Un paysage lunaire. Assez fréquenté mais tellement grand que ce n'est pas gênant.

Zabriskie Point est un highlight: on se croirait spectateur d’un tableau surréaliste. Les roches, marbrées de tons allant du marron auburn au jaune pétant, forment des vagues de pierres, liant ciel, mer et terre! La vue la plus célèbre du parc.

Le Zabrinski point est sans doute le point le plus "graphique" de la visite du parc national de la Death Valley. Les formes et les couleurs de ces montagnes ciselées au coucher du soleil sont sublimes. Nous avons visité ce parc par 51° degrés au mois de septembre, une chaleur de sèche cheveux insupportable. Néanmoins, il n'y a pas beaucoup à marcher (5 minutes) pour se rapprocher du lookout, donc aucun risque sur ce plan. Zabrinski est juste l'un des nombreux panoramas du parc, qu'il faut arpenter dans son ensemble pour bien saisir le caractère surnaturel de ces lieux. Compter au moins 1 jour complet pour explorer les différents endroits. A visiter avec une climatisation qui fonctionne dans la voiture :)

Le point de vue le plus beau de la death valley. Evidemment il y fait très chaud, ne pas oublier de prendre de l'eau même si l'on reste peu de temps. Paysage unique.
