Be careful with this place they are scammers if you book with this people a room with two beds they gladly take your money but when you get there is only one bed and they will not give you a refund you will have to contact your bank to let them know the situation or lose your money. This place will not give you a refund

Had to ask for new towels four times before I managed to get possibly the one and only non stained or damaged towel in the entire facility. The AC takes like two hours to come on and the only other temperature option is burning hot. The shower curtain was literally falling apart. We spilled coffee on the sheets one morning and left them outside to be replaced; I still had to go to the front desk in the evening to request new sheets and change them myself, and the mattress cover was clearly covered in various other mystery stains. There was hair and toe nail clippings on the floor when we checked in so it obviously wasn’t cleaned entirely. The vending machine stole my money??

I realize this isn’t a 5 star hotel, but come on? I’ve stayed in a lot of motels over the years and this has to be the worst one. I guess the location is fine and you’ll be within walking distance to popular areas, but I don’t even think it’s worth it.

Motel 6 San Diego downtown has terrible customer service and communication. After an error in my travel date at time of booking using their direct website, I contacted them 3 times via email and made multiple calls they were unresponsive. Even after contacting the motel 6 group, I did not receive a response from the property which resulted I me losing the entire cost of my stay.
This motel’s management and staff provided no flexibility or understanding of this situation.

I canceled my reservation and it's almost 2 months and i have not received my money

For the downtown area this hotel is the least expensive yet it's a clean, decent place to stay. It's your best value hotel if staying downtown
