Walked in from out of town and didn’t have cash (that’s all they accept) and their atm was giving me a hard time so he gave us our order and said we could come back to pay! Super nice. The carne asada fries were so flavorful and rich and we devoured them within minutes! They have a lot of great options to try. Don’t go anywhere else!
Nicos makes the best carnitas burrito in San Diego. Delicious and has not become super expensive like everywhere else. They’re also extremely kind people. Highly recommend giving them a try!
I came here for the California burrito and I was not disappointed. It was a good size and very flavorful. I'd recommend getting a few containers of their green sauce before stuffing your face.
Nicos Mexican Seafood is super tiny place in Ocean Beach in San Diego. They serve fresh and flavorful Mexican food. It's right in the main street of OB. Their battered fish BURRITO is a must-try item on their menu. It huge and filling and plenty for the price. The restaurant has a casual and local vibe, and the cool location. Friendly staff and service too
Downside: No pastor or Adobada Burritos available
One of the best breakfast burritos I have eaten with a great meat to egg and cheese ratio. I tried the chorizo breakfast burrito and the sausage breakfast burrito. The chorizo was a bit on the greasy side, if that matters to you. The sausage breakfast burrito was my favorite of the two. The salsas were flavorful and spicy (red for the win!)
Nico’s is always worth a stop if you’re in Ocean Beach. Their food is delicious and so full of flavor.
The Carne Asada burrito is huge. Probably enough for two meals for most people. The meat in the burrito is well seasoned and blends really well with the pico de gallo, which is always fresh!
The Beef Rolled Tacos are a great meal by itself. The tacos are large and are served with large portions of cheese and guacamole. I added sour cream to mine.
They're "cash only", though, so be prepared.
