UNREALISTIC refund policy. If a flight gets delayed/canceled, I am sick, or an emergency comes up ….. there is NO REFUND!!!!

Me and my husband travel a lot and we have not encountered this type of inflexible policy anywhere else.

What I found even worse, and which solidified the fact that I will not do business with this company is that I called and asked to speak to the manager about it (I have two ailing relatives in the state where I live and they are often rushed to the hospital and sometimes have to stay there…hence my travel plans sometimes change)

The manager never called me back.

In congruence with being objective: this hotel is in a beautiful location with optimal surroundings.

Beware of your event budget!! This post is in regards to events space. The venue is gorgeous and the actual service was nice but the sales person you work with does NOT have your best interest at heart. In all actuality you have to manage and guard your wallet. It’s truly sad how we were treated for my friends baby shower.. every angle and approach to go over my very WELL communicated budget was attempted and nothing is done with a mindset of service or goodness of her heart. Just plain old greed. I strongly suggest if you REALLY want this venue to over communicate your budget and on the day of your event ask bold direct questions on costs for anything you see put out in your space. You pay a significant percentage for forced gratuity yet you feel like you’re treated the opposite of a guest. More like someone’s extorting you. Good luck

It is a very peaceful and pleasant place, like a secret garden in Laguna Beach, the employees are friendly and caring,
It is a place where you can go and spend time with pleasure at any time of the day.

After an incredible experience staying at Montage Palmetto Bluff, we had to see what the original and flagship Montage in Laguna Beach was all about!

There’s a reason this place is 4.8 stars with 5k reviews. Unbelievable service, food is spectacular, and the property upkeep is next level for a resort that’s almost 20 years old.

The staff are also genuinely happy and extremely appreciative to work here.

I went to the salon here ant Montage and got my hair done by Hannah. I was nervous since I didn’t know her, but she was OUT OF THIS WORLD talented!!!! She is so personable and just amazing energy. My hair has never looked or felt so good. Highly recommend. Thanks Hannah see you soon for more! X you gained a client for life. ????

We stayed at The Ranch at Laguna Beach for two nights this past weekend. We had the most memorable time - mostly in part to the employees that we met there: Eduardo, Scott, Wissam, and Chris from the restaurant, McKenna from the farm, Sonia from the front desk, Andy from the golf course, and most importantly, Carissa McDevitt. Carissa helped us plan the most amazing, unforgettable weekend of our lives. We cannot thank her enough.

As for The Ranch itself - the location is breathtaking, the food is delicious, the rooms are clean, and the service is impeccable.

The most wonderful Lounge bar I've been for a long time. Sophisticated, very high end. Amazing service. Atmosphere is fantastic, life piano.
Highly recommend this place for a cozy and romantic evening.

Everything was beautiful. They are very pet friendly. Meaning you can take the dogs to the pool and they’ll bring them out a bed. They’re not allowed on the pool chairs but totally understandable for health reasons. My pet peeve is spending a lot of money for a dog friendly hotel that’s not really dog friendly. So I appreciate the Montage. Vince I’m assuming who was the manager was outstanding in making my party and I feel the love from the resort. Kate was also so welcoming. Really the whole staff. The spa attendants were so nice. I do like that they have a spa pool that’s separate from the family pool. Plus the spa pool is adults only. So you don’t have to worry about bringing a mommy swimsuit if you don’t want to ????. The rooms had a nice clean and fresh feeling to them. I will definitely be back. Thanks Vince ❤️

After walking through the property today, this Montage is definitely the nicest hotel in the Orange County area. It is pristine, and the views of the Pacific Ocean are spectacular. We considered this hotel during our visit to the area, and while we were happy staying at the Park Hyatt Aviara, this property definitely has nicer views. The restaurant for lunch and gift shop were both great experiences today. This property is worth the premium.

The front desk staff tried to charge again on prepaid booking.
Even she was at fault, no apology was made and continued with the hostile attidude.
Very disappointing service and never coming back.
