A must-see Visitor Center if you're staying in Palm Springs for more than a day, with a map of nearby hiking trails
At the entrance to the city from Los Angeles, the Visitor Center is well worth a stop if you plan to stay longer than a day in Palm Springs. As well as providing you with interesting information about the city and its cultural identity, its staff will give you a map of the best hiking trails in the area, as well as a schedule of current events. Please note, however, that you won't be able to buy tickets for the Aerial Tramway here.
