Standing at the entrance to Avalon Bay and towering over the sailboats in the harbor, the Catalina Casino is a beautiful Art Deco building, completely devoid of any slot machines. A movie theater and a large ballroom are located inside, all of which are subject to two guided tours. The circular structure of the building lends an air of elegance to this relatively wild island and is one of the most popular places in the area. In the summer, crowds flock here, attracted by a rich and eclectic program.
