Located in a quiet and cottage street of Beverly Hills, just a few metres from the bustle of Wilshire Boulevard, Maison 140 impresses with its human size and intimate atmosphere. The decor is signed by the Queen of interior decoration on the west coast: Kelly Wearstler. There is an unexpected mix between the Parisian style of the th century and the Asian style. The building dates back to 1930 and served as a place of residence to Lillian Gish, one of the greatest silent film stars.

Don’t be a sucker like us! They are probably going to close and do a total remodel soon. Super dirty, smelly, and hardly functional…had pay a fee for getting a drink at a different hotel. Super scammer! Don’t even have coffee ????

I was very shocked when I arrived. I would have canceled my stay as soon as I got there , had I not booked through Expedia. The whole room smelt like bleach so bad my eyes were burning. Staff is not friendly at all . Photos of the hotel looked nice online but a total disappointment. Tv didn’t work. Floors were sticky. No ventilation it seemed like in the whole hotel/ room. Very surprised for Beverly Hills. It might be cheaper but you don’t want to stay here!

My recent stay at the hotel was highly disappointing. Despite being advertised with free WiFi, the Wi-Fi was non-functional. Numerous calls were required for basic amenities like toilet paper and towels, with delayed or no response even after multiple attempts.

The room had an overwhelming mildew odor, seemingly linked to the malfunctioning shower fan, and we resorted to leaving the window open for fresh air. Moreover, the towels provided were riddled with large holes, making them unpleasant to use.

Despite multiple requests, the manager remained elusive, ignoring follow-up emails, leaving us feeling neglected and frustrated. The overall treatment during our stay was subpar, leaving a lasting negative impression. I am beyond dissatisfied with how I was treated during my stay. I do not recommend you stay here, choose another hotel!

The room was fine if you absolutely need a place to stay. But not somewhere I plan to stay if there are options. Location is amazing.

I was not expecting this to be a luxury hotel based on the price & location. The staff were friendly. The room is small & outdated. The real problem was that it did not have a feeling of being clean. The room was clean, the furniture was old & well used. The metal on the fixtures in the bathroom were rusted & there was black stuff in the tile grout. The carpet was worn and definitely needs to be replaced. The hallway in the common area was dirty, especially in the corner(see pic). They had coffee available in the morning at their sister hotel around the corner. That one seems much nicer. A lot of people complain about the cost of parking & it is expensive to park, however it is Beverly Hills & the city does not allow overnight street parking with out a permit. If you want to park on the street next to the meters, hope you don't get a ticket or towed.
