Big-window hotel with rooftop pool and bar/restaurant in Los Angeles
We love this hotel from which you can walk to the beach in Santa Monica. With its neutral color palette, large windows that let in the sublime light typical of Los Angeles, and high-quality furniture and fabrics, the hotel does everything it can to make you feel at home... with added California charm! The rooftop pool, the bar-restaurant, and the yoga and meditation classes complete the picture.

Just stayed at Santa Monica Proper Hotel for the first time this past weekend and all I can say is WOW! I’m an interior designer and Kelly Wearsler lover so it’s been on my bucket list to stay here and it did not disappoint! From the Spa, to the design, food, amenities, staff, EVERYTHING was absolute perfection! The staff were the friendliest I’ve experienced in a long time at a hotel. The beds are extremely comfortable and the rooms are very sound proof so you will sleep like a baby here which is very important to me. The hotel is absolutely stunning and I can’t wait to return again soon!

Lovely hotel. Good service. I wish I had been able to eat at the restaurant but they had very limited vegetarian options. Would be great to have more when we return next year ????

Ok hotel, customer service poor. Left behind valuable item, first they told me they couldn't find it then when I told them there was an air tag on it they miraculously found it. Still waiting for the hotel manager to call me back and organise its return. AVOID if you can stay somewhere that you'll be taken care of because its certainly not here. They take your money and run.
