Very friendly staff. Thanks to the French-speaking doorman for the nice talk and good tips about L.A. Large rooms. One negative thing is the loud music in the evening until 10pm-11pm.

We picked here as hotel expecting for good rest as it claimed as 4 stars hotel, turned out it even cannot provide quality environment for rest and sleep as the rooftop bar music and DJ run till 2am. Stayed for first night here only then we booked another hotel, repacked the luggage, check out etc. The experience totally ruined the travel plan and wasted a lot of time.
Appreciate the nice staff service here, but please review the service standards for guests who look for “hotel”.

Rooftop was a nice vibe and great view. Server only talked to us literally one time to take our order- he dropped off drinks without asking how our food was which i thought was server 101. Also the charcuterie board had no cheese? is that legal?

I had an amazing experience at Mama Shelter Los Angeles! From the location in the very heart of Hollywood, amazing staff Paul who was super friendly and gave me a marvellous room with Hollywood sign view. Special mention for the security staff at the entrance, always super friendly and smiling. The rooftop was also amazing, nice music, cocktails and Utopia party on sunday for a perfect evening!
