Coffee infused with cinnamon: that's the morning aroma of Monte Alban, which seems to come straight from Oaxaca, Mexico. The specialties of this southern Mexican city are prepared with care. Special mention must be made of the mole negro - a sauce made from many ingredients - and the enfrijoladas, a colorful blend of beans, chicken and typical Mexican sauce - available in a choice of black, yellow, green or red. Food is Bland, meaning there's no taste, had the concume de pollo, basically cubs of uncooked chicken with water and onions, how they are staying in business is unbelievable. Overpriced, overhyped, stay away until the menu is changed.

I’ve been to this restaurant many times, and I was disappointed once again. The Yellow mole had little Flavor and even though it was a full entrée, there was only small pile of rice, and not a bean or garnish in site. I don’t think I can come back again. The waitress never came to see how we were doing or so we could order a side of beans!
