Food was decent and the service was very good. Vibe was good and bar and restaurant were both busy. Would go back

We had a reservation @ 6:pm and driving from Newport Coast to the Craig’s restaurant. As we were checked in the Front desk were very rude and the waitress and others come to our Table, they take a Food without asking if we’re done with Food!!! Appetizers and Food was absolutely terrible and disappointing and looks like the Food was dumped into the Dishes!! Food presentation was awful!. We spend more than $800 for Dinner for such a poor Customer Service!!. I’ll never recommend Craig’s Restaurant to our friends & family It was our First time and will be last time we dined in!!.

I come here every morning for coffee. I love your organic coffee and even the fact that u charge extra for organic milk? But the fact that u microwave ur eggs is actually disgusting not to mention dry and tasteless. The staff is very pleasant but totally overworked and I can’t imagine what they get paid but that’s not my concern. Cushions on the seats would be a nice touch , not to mention more comfortable on the tush. Music is great but must admit the Santa Monica location overall is much nicer.

It’s was my mans 30th birthday and we went with a group of our closest friends, we were 9 people
The food was amazing as always but the service was very slow
We agreed on $175 per person for more than 8 people
At the beginning we had some drinks at the bar and 2 of our friends had a separate bill
They gave us the bill and charged us $500 more than what we actually ate because we didn’t meet the set price, completely ignoring the money we spent on the bar and the friends that had a separate bill.
When we spoke to the manager he was so rude! Gave us the worst attitude and made us wait more than 20 minutes for nothing
He didn’t help us at all and when my friend was looking at a wine decanter the manager told him not to take it as if we were thieves
Olivetta was my favorite restaurant for a few years but after the way we got treated I’ll never go back and never recommend it to anyone.

????️ Service: I got there around 9:30am on a Sunday and was able to walk right up to the counter to order. By 10:30am, there was a big line going out the door. I got a number and then sat down outside. Seating is first come first serve. The food came quickly and all at once.

???? Food: Amazing. This was one of my favorite breakfast/lunch spots that I visited during my trip to LA. Every dish was delicious. The avocado pizza was super filling, creamy and crispy. Definitely recommend.

Mauro is by far our favorite restaurant in Los Angeles!
The food is exquisite, the service is outstanding and the ambiance is delightful!!! I could eat here every single day!

Came for a birthday dinner at this restaurant, the prices are very high but the food is good.
We had an issue with our check and after we asked to fix the problem we waited about 20 minutes to receive the new check which was wrong too.
All of that was nothing compared to the rude and outrageous behavior of the manager there that had the most bizarre attitude for no reason, was super impatient and couldn’t handle the issue.
Unfortunately he is making a bad reputation to the restaurant and didn’t care.

I have never chipped my tooth at a restaurant before but I just ate a piece of rock and bit right through it. When I told my waitress, she didn’t even seem surprised and didn’t do anything to make the situation better. I think at the very least she should have called over a manager to apologize to me and let me know how this rock could have been missed when they clean their seafood and how they would improve for the future.

Amazing spot. The sitting area they have in the garden they set up in the parking lot is really nice on a beautiful day. Everything looked so good, I ordered the daily special sandwich with a side of potatoes and it was lovely. The whole staff was friendly and helpful, very peaceful place to relax and catch up with friends while having some great Italian food

Vegan crab cakes were great, vegan pizza was terrible. The ‘meat’ on the pizza tasted like cardboard, dough was good.

This was one of the most fun nights out we’ve had in a long time. First, we had zero expectations and went early at 5:30. We got a great seat in the bar area and had the loveliest server helping us with our meal. We ordered the caviar special, the chopped salad and the green goddess salad, two clam pastas, the rigatoni and their chicken parm. From the bread, to the food, to the drinks and desserts, the food was undeniably great. I’d park at the hotel across the way to avoid the valet clog but otherwise this was an amazing night.

Good food, good service. A bit dark, but part of the overall vibe.

I was served at the cash register by a man with a “baseball” hat around 4:40pm on the 28th of February 2024. I usually like to leave tip on cash so I didn’t leave it on card and right away this guys started to curse in Spanish and told the worker who was making the coffee, she’s a trash blla blla, thinking I won’t understand. So I decided to come to Urth caffee to feel good and instead I hear this Mexican guy trash talking to me out of nowhere. Trashy workers I’m never coming back again and will tell this story to all of my friends. Urth caffee will go down very soon!

A very cool, classic West Hollywood staple. Crowds of all types, great drinks and could even meet a celeb or two.

No frills, consistently good food, and a neighborhood staple. The perfect balance of privacy and seeing familiar faces every time you drop in.

Whether you want to chat with the staff, who feel more like family, or stay to yourself at a private table, the choice is yours. The waiters aren't overbearing and give you space to enjoy your time. If you're looking for a fussy spot, Mauro is not for you.

I must add, if you frequent this spot, you'll know that Evelyne, Mira, and the rest of the staff are amazing and support all customers equally, always. The DJ is an angel and so much fun!

*Friday nights low-key dinner
*Sunday morning/afternoon lively brunch

Wow what a treasure! Visiting granddaughters in the area and celebrating wife’s birthday. Arrived it’s 1.15p reservations in a Saturday. Promptly greeted and seated like family. Honestly genuine and warm greeting from the staff. Super special vibe!

We ordered the Bruschetta appetizer a few glasses of wine and waited on lunch. The service was prompt and the food was cooked and served quickly. Again, the servers and support staff were superb. The food was awesome.

I was in the mood for carbonara but did not find it on the menu so I ordered the Penne Porcini and asked for bacon to be added. That turned out fantastic! The other dishes were a hit as well. The lamb shank was fall off the bone and beautifully seasoned. The Penne Primavera was cooked in point and the vegetables and tomato were flavorful. The Fred’s pasta looks like a favorite and was very pleasing.

We shared a carrot cake and tiramisu for dessert, had an espresso, decaf Cappuccino and a latte- all on point! Fabulous meal and hope to return soon! Fantastic experience

Food was ok but service was lacking. Slow, non-responsive and unwilling to correct. Not just us, the table next to us complained of slow service when the didn't get food or drinks after a significant wait, another table sent back food due to spoiled egg. I had to return inside to get coffees after 20min wait only to find they had been made long ago and stacked up up waiting delivery... now cold. Meanwhile 8 staff rotated on and off two tables bringing out huge meals for themselves... bad optics at the least.

Response to owner:
thank you for taking the time to respond and I'm sure the prep is high quality but if the coffee sits for 15min after it gets cold and all that work is for nothing.... in this case the order was two americanos (espresso and water - no crafting of drink required)

I can’t begin to describe how incredible our experience was at Craig’s. We were visiting from out of town and expected the typical experience that comes from “of the moment” spots - mediocre food, overpriced and service that reflects that they don’t need our patronage. I couldn’t have been more wrong.

We went on a Friday night with our two children - ages 10 & 13 - and expected that we would be met annoyance - it was anything but! The hostess was so sweet, kind and personable, and then we had a visit from Emma (who I presume was the manager) and she engaged us in real, meaningful conversation, not just the requisite check-in. Following her visit, Craig, the owner, came by to see how our experience was.

But the true stand-out of the evening was our waiter, Carson. I simply can’t find the words to compliment him to the level he deserves. He was so engaging, kind and funny that we forgot we had only just met him that night! He took the time to talk to us about where we were from, he engaged my boys into a deep sports discussion and made them feel important while keeping them laughing. When we all left that night we couldn’t stop talking about how incredible our entire experience was! So much so, that we canceled our reservation at a very highly sought after restaurant on Monday night so we could go back there.

We had another great experience on Monday. Our waitress, Kristi, was so sweet and kind! On the way out we ran into Carson and he treated us like old friends. My boys were so excited that we got to see him again (as were we) and, despite us not being his customers that night, he spent time chatting with us and never once made us feel like we were taking too much of his time. This man is truly amazing and if you ever have the chance to have him as your server, consider yourself lucky!

Thank you so much, Carson, for making our entire trip! We will be back to Craig’s every time we visit LA!

Great place. Staff is very attentive but gives you your space at the same time. I asked for suggestions, and all suggestions hit THE SPOT. I just wish the fishes came with some sort of sides. I got the bone in ribeye (medium rare, chard) it was PERFECT, but it needed a side of mash or veggies, and it didn't have that. But over all me and my fiance had a memorable time.

As a tourist, my partner and I were excited to celebrate our anniversary at Craig’s, having heard great things about it. However, our visit turned out to be incredibly disappointing, leaving a sour taste in our mouths, not from the food but from the abysmal service we received.

From the moment we walked in, we couldn't help but feel that we were being treated poorly, possibly due to discrimination. We were seated in a corner that felt isolated and out of the way, almost as if we were placed there to be constantly observed by the staff. This seating arrangement immediately created an unwelcome atmosphere.

The uncomfortable experience only escalated as we noticed the stares and glances from both the employees and other guests. This constant scrutiny made us feel incredibly uneasy and unwelcome. It became so distressing that we couldn't even bring ourselves to finish our meal before deciding to leave.

The overall feeling of being unwelcomed and the blatant stares from the employees and other guests made this a truly unpleasant experience. It is disheartening to encounter such discriminatory treatment in a supposedly reputable establishment. We left Craig’s with a profound sense of disappointment and frustration, tarnishing what was meant to be a special occasion for us.

In light of our experience, we cannot recommend Craig’s to people of color who are seeking an enjoyable dining experience. Discrimination has no place in any establishment, and it is essential for restaurants to ensure that all their guests are treated with respect and dignity. We hope that you all take this feedback seriously and works towards creating a more inclusive and welcoming environment for all patrons.

Overall, our visit was a regrettable experience marred by poor service and possible discrimination. We sincerely hope that the management takes appropriate measures to address these issues, ensuring that no future guests have to endure the same disappointment and discomfort that we did.
