Best sausages in LA. Been coming here for almost a decade and the quality has always been top tier. I've had every sausage on the menu multiple times. Mango Jalapeno is my favorite with a Klein, blue cheese/bacon/walnut dip, and a bitburger. PERFECTION
The beer, sausages, and atmosphere are always amazing here! I love the duck and bacon sausage with spicy peppers and sauerkraut. Definitely one of my favorite places to eat at in downtown LA.
À goûter absolument, le Rattlesnake & Rabbit with Jalapeño Peppers, délicieux !
Parfait !
The selection of beers here is top notch! Many Belgium and German beers such as chouffe and duvel. Service and atmosphere of the place is also great. Was a little disappointed by the sausage I had, felt a little dry but overall was a good time
Phenomenal German food in a heavily food populated area. This place sticks out well with the quality compared to others in the area. They have a few unique blends of bratwurst, which I had the rabbit and rattlesnake blend (very good!). I also tried the original bratwurst, and fries. I’d say everything was very good and worth coming again. Make sure to check your receipt, I was charged for two beers but only asked for one. They were quick to resolve it, but just a courtesy mention.
Hadn’t been in a few years, nothing has changed. It’s incredible how despite a pandemic and a shortage of labor and products, this place hasn’t slipped an inch. The front end staff is always patient and personable (not the typical snub hipster nonsense). The food is excellent. Sauces perfect. Fries crispy. I’m disappointed in myself for not going here more often. I give you 5-stars and me personally, 2, for not trying harder. Well done!
It’s one of my favorite restaurants in downtown LA. Whenever I came out from a Lakers game, I always come to this place for late night dining. The restaurant servers are polite and friendly with great service. There are different kinds of draft beer you can enjoy. And of course the delicious sausages and fries.
The only downside is the parking. It’s almost impossible to find a free parking spot. I almost gave up until I saw someone is leaving a parking spot for me.
I love love love this place for when I want to get a delicious and refreshing beer. Their selection is AWESOME to say the least. I'm going through their list of Belgian beers and so far not one has disappointed. They all have an incredible tasteful flavor and essence. Their hot dogs are unique in the sense that they don't just have bratwurst and your other regular sausages., they have rattlesnake and bison meat ???????????? Try if you dare. I enjoy just sitting in their dinning room and enjoying their music as I drink my beer. Awesome place ????????
My husband and I go here all the time. Great beer! Yummy hot dogs. They always have a fun atmosphere that you can take your friends to and have a good time.
Wurstkuche is one of the restaurants I’d recommend to anyone visiting LA. I’ve been going here for years now and have always had the most amazing experiences. They accommodate my gluten allergy so well here, simply making my sausage without a bun and also wrapped in foil so no cross contamination occurs. I love the kielbasa and have yet to try anything too out there, but they have some very interesting and exotic sausages such as the rattlesnake & rabbit one! Not sure if I’ll ever be adventurous enough to try that one!
There tends to be a line every time I go, but there’s always enough room to sit, as they have a large front patio and plenty of seats indoors that’s free seating. I love how there are crayons and you can color on the tables! Parking is pretty terrible as this is a busy area in the Arts District, so I’d recommend ubering if possible, although I did get lucky and find parking right away this time around!
Definitely check this place out as they are super accommodating, the atmosphere is great and the food is delicious!
And the Belgian fries are amazing
