Great restaurant! Me and my friends were looking for a late night meal and found the perfect place here. The owner Steve was extremely nice and hospitable. We had a great conversation, he let us pass inside the establishment to escape the cold despite that dine-in was closed, and had food for a party of five ready in under thirty minutes. Although we are 12 hours away from Los Angeles, we definitely saved this place to come back. Very friendly place and delicious food.
Do not ever order delivery from them. They will have you waiting so long, ridiculously long, and your food will be cold by the time you get it, if you ever do. Your driver may also give up your order because they waited too long and don't want to risk their car being towed due to the limited parking in westwood....I can only imagine how irritated their average diner is about the terrible service. Try pomodoro trattoria, its in the same neighborhood.
Difficult to rate because there are 2 people who manage. The older gentleman is very nice and makes great pizza. The younger one cannot cook a pizza. Always leave my pizza underdone. Says it will be ready in 10 min. Your pizza is not done in 10 min !! So soggy always in the middle. Last time was the last straw I couldn’t even pick it up without all the toppings falling off.
Food was okay got a calzone with bells peppers and they weren’t even fully cooked they were still crunchy along with a Hawaiian pizza that hardly any ham and almost no sauce. I’d give this place a 4.5/10
Ordered Garlic Cheese bread and Buffalo wings. Both were fantastic, but the wings are a step above any other place out there.
The Buffalo sauce on the wings is perfection, but even better than that is the massive size of these wings!! And if that wasn’t good enough, 10 of these huge wings for only 13.99 is a steal!!
It was go good, I felt responsible for spreading the word. Great service as well.
My boy the owner is a dawg, bro goes out there everyday and challenges us to something new. I always call and order their fan favorite which is the BIGG Sausage Pizza. Hope this place stays fire like always.
This place is really good. A hidden gem in Westwood Village. I would highly recommend sitting in the courtyard and sharing a large pizza and a side as a group, it's a great atmosphere and bang for buck. Pizza is thin crust, super cheesy, and wood fired - not American or Neopolitan style but just generally a great pizza. Friendly service too.
I wanted to find some good Italian pasta and found this place in the area. When I tried to order for takeout they were extremely rude and insisted I sat inside. I did not sit inside and they completely screwed over my food. I cannot believe this restaurant is even still a business. Terrible owners and extremely racist!!!!!!
Ordered this as a late night craving on Postmates and was pleasantly surprised with the portion size and quality. I just went with something simple - penne Alfredo. Plenty of sauce that had a great fresh garlic flavor, definitely homemade. Two people could split this — I’ll easily have it for 2 meals! I do recommend getting bread as it did not come with any :)
We just moved to LA and ordered takeaway from Italian Express Pizza for our first meal here to thank my parents for helping with the move. We ordered a small cheese pizza, spinach ravioli, an Italian salad, and a tiramisu for four of us to split. Couldn't have asked for a better first meal! We were all raving about everything and talking about how we couldn't wait to try more things next time. Thanks for a great memory for me and my family!
Their Pastas and Pizza options are amazing! They make all their pasta sauces fresh with high quality ingredients. I highly recommend their Rigatoni with Pink sauce or Cheese Ravioli with Pink sauce.
The Best late night take away Italian restaurant I have experienced. I tried their Rigatoni pink sauce pasta, BBQ chicken pizza and Chicken soup. The food was freshly made, tasty and really good. Rarely can you order food late night that is this good!
We looooooove pizza from The Italian Express!! We've had it delivered to our hotel near the UCLA Medical Center 5 or 6 times. Each time the ordering process has been made easy by the competent guy on the phone, the delivery guy has been prompt & respectful, and the pizza has been to-die-for delicious! There is sooo much luscious cheese on these pizzas, we always order our pies extra crispy.
Went in at 11:15pm, and although their hours state until 3am, they would not let us come in. We saw one person sitting inside eating, I’m guessing they close at 11pm?
The Buffalo sauce on the wings is perfection, but even better than that is the massive size of these wings!! And if that wasn’t good enough, 10 of these huge wings for only 13.99 is a steal!!

Small baby pizza w a can of soda, guy charged me 25 dollars
Opened up my box of pizza, guy had litterally put 3 pieces of mushroom and pineapple on each slice
I told him about getting ripped, he said, you want more mushrooms, you gatta pay more!
Would not go here!
Terrible experience!
