FUNICOLARE DI CATANZARO

Driving in the city center of Catanzaro can be a real headache. Fortunately, since 1998 there is a funicular line that connects Catanzaro Sala, in the valley, to Piazza Roma, in the historic center, in just a few minutes. The ticket includes access to the parking lot of the Piè Sala station (unguarded) and even the shuttle bus from Piazza Roma to Piazza Matteotti. With a departure every 15 minutes, the funicular is a convenient and cheap way to reach the center of Catanzaro.
