A perfect stopover for a quick lunch while strolling through the Sasso Caveoso. This small artisan bakery offers excellent focacce with tomato, olives, potatoes or zucchini, the famous IGP Matera bread, calzone and puff pastry, as well as some specialities, such as a good onion tart. Almond biscuits and sweet and savoury taralli are also tasty. Four tables in front to enjoy the sun.

Loved their focaccia, it was not too thick and it was nicely crispy on the outside. Paid 6 eur for 3 pieces (each was a quarter of the pie). They also had bread and sweet cakes and some groceries. I think they open early, we were there shortly after 8 am.

Focacce e panzerotti buonissimi, sanno veramente di forno tradizionale, molto molto saporito tutto e la ragazza veramente gentilissima.
