Prehistoric site considered one of the most important in Italy.

In this prehistoric site, considered one of the most important in Italy, a dolmen, megalithic structures, burials dating back more than 24,000 years, beautiful cave paintings dating back to the Upper Paleolithic, and many other treasures (lithic instruments...) have been discovered. This site is not visited for conservation reasons and because excavations are still in progress, but exhibitions are organized from time to time at the Museo del Paleolitico (Corso Giannone) in Rignano Garganico.
