At the water's edge, Il Bastione is like a boat, surrounded by the sea that comes crashing down at its feet. Opposite, another bastion left free gives an idea of the advance on which the restaurant stands today. The inventive cuisine, based on seafood, is consistent and never pretentious. The marriage of tastes takes place subtly and one is always pleasantly surprised. The waiters are discreet and always keep an eye on your plate. On the wall, Pignatelli's paintings give a surrealist touch to the place.

Wir wollten um ca. 14 Uhr eine Kleinigkeit essen von der Mittagskarte, die an der Straße aushängt. Diese Karte war am Tisch dann aber erst auf ausdrückliche Nachfrage hin überhaupt erhältlich. Als wir dann tatsächlich „nur“ ein kleines Mittagessen bestellt haben, erstarb die anfängliche Freundlichkeit umgehend. Obwohl nur drei Tische besetzt waren, mussten wir ca. 45 Minuten warten. Der bestellte gebratene Fisch war trocken und nicht sehr frisch. Wir konnten uns nicht willkommen fühlen, trotz des natürlich atemberaubenden Ambientes.

Locale molto bello e affascinante sito nella città vecchia di Gallipoli..Si affaccia sul mare e solo x questo ne vale la pena andarci...Ho trovato un ottimo cibo e sopratutto fresco e di qualità...personale molto educato ed accogliente ma in particolare un ringraziamento particolare a Silvia..ragazza molto educata e disponibile in tutto...molto professionale direi..be che dire le 5 stelle a mio avviso le meritano tutte..vi consiglio di andare ad asseggiare le loro prelibatezze...prezzi ammissibili visto anche dove è situato il locale...
