A charming restaurant in the centre of Castro, where simple, unpretentious, quality cuisine is served. The specialities are obviously those of the sea, including grilled meats and fish soup, to be preceded byAmedeo's antipasto, made up of an assortment of dishes. Unless you prefer a pasta starter , such as sagne 'ncannulate (a kind of twisted tagliatelle) with prawns and rocket. The desserts are home-made. Maria, the owner, will be happy to guide you to the charming flowered terrace.

Ci siamo trovati per caso in questo ristorante e abbiamo assaporato un primo buonissimo. La cameriera, suppongo proprietaria del posto, ci ha chiesto un opinione sul piatto che indubbiamente era positiva. Successivamente , decidiamo di prendere un dolce: sfogliatina con ricotta e frutti di bosco. Al momento dell’assaggio, è risultata a dir poco ammorbidita: prodotto sicuramente congelato e scongelato male in microonde. In questo caso, alla cameriera non le è più interessato il nostro parere, infatti, vedendo che il dolce era rimasto tutto lì, non si è avvicinata a chiedere se fosse tutto apposto. La donna, sicuramente del mestiere, ha preferito far finta di niente, mettendoci nel conto anche il dessert. Che brutto perdere dei clienti per soli 6€ di dolce!

Very nice location in a nicely renovated building. Food very poor unfortunately. A seafood pasta dish tasteless with minimal seafood and very overpriced at 25 Euros. Red snapper dish with cold potatoes returned. Service fine.

Amazing restaurant we found in storico Castro. Maria and staff did the very best to make us feel welcome. The seafood salad and anchovies were the best even after being a week in Roma and Napoli. The garden was a respite from the heat.
