Historical center perched on a limestone cliff above the crystal clear waters of the Adriatic.

Perched on a limestone cliff above the crystalline waters of the Adriatic, the historic centre, accessible via the Porta Vecchia, has a charm all its own. It is easy to walk around, but the magnetism of its winding streets is so strong that you'll want to walk through them again and again. You can't get enough of the small whitewashed houses, the courtyards and alleys that lead to terraces overlooking the sea. In the main square, Piazza Vittorio Emanuele, you can admire the Chiesa Matrice, built in 1295 but redesigned many times.
