VINARIJA MARKOVIC
This Montenegrin vineyard is a great place to visit, both for its scenery and its guided tour (with tasting). The grape varieties grown here, Tamjanika, black and white, make up 85% of this vineyard, the rest being Pinot Noir, highly appreciated as a top-of-the-range wine. This magnificent estate also boasts a restaurant serving fine local specialties, and a guest house in the stone farmhouse. The four rooms are very different: one in 16th-century Montenegrin style, the other 19th-century, the next Venetian and the last modern.
