This early 20th century house on the banks of the Ribnica River belonged to Kuslev, a dentist of the royal family, and was later converted into a museum. The museum's collection on the first floor of the building includes some paintings by the famous painter Petar Lubarda, pottery, vases and jewellery found during excavations at the site of the ancient city of Doclea, Orthodox icons, as well as some lavishly decorated traditional costumes and weapons.

Les collections sont maigres et pas toujours bien mises en avant. La scénographie m'échappe encore et l'histoire de la ville ne m'est pas acquise. Il n'en demeure pas moins que la visite est agréable pour qui désire s'occuper dans la ville de Podgorica où les activités manquent un peu. Il permet surtout de se rendre compte qu'il ne reste rien du site archéologique de Duklja qui a été pillé. Quelques blocs architecturaux sont disposés dans l'entrée.
Gratuit le 15 août. Un petit guide (traduction en anglais) est vendu à l'entrée (5€). Il vaut le coup étant donné qu'il propose des petits développements sur tous les musées du Monténégro.
