A small town living from the exploitation and trade of sea salt, 65 km northwest of Riohacha, near Uribia, on the coast. The landscape is composed of white mountains that are courageously and tirelessly fed by Wayúu women. Cactuses are used as fences in residential gardens. Beautiful beaches in the surroundings, in Musichi (thousands of flamingos make up the most magnificent spectacle at dawn or sunset) and El Pájaro.
