Small park located on the Fonce River in San Gil, offering a romantic walk, with well laid out paths

A local poet defines this small park of 4 hectares as "a place where nature has made an effort to give back to man his lost paradise". Located on the banks of the Fonce River, it offers a romantic walk, if it is not too crowded, with well laid out paths. It is hard to imagine being in the heart of the city: butterflies, strelitzias, ferns, ceibas, cedars, and the famous gallineros, huge trees from which hang lichens called angel hair or San José beard. If you wish to use the public swimming pool, you must bring a bathing cap.

On se croirait dans une foret lointaine, alors qu'on est en plein centre de la ville.

Endroit très agréable si on a quelques heures à perdre.
Des plantes ici, quelques tortues par là. Tiens une piscine en plein centre.

Parque plus tot sympa avec beaucoup de beau arbre et une piscine (.. bizarre). Quelques oiseaux et iguane aussi (mais il faut chercher). 7 000COP l entrée.

Un arrêt par le parque el gallineral n'est pas indispensable à mon avis. Toutefois si vous prévoyez de passer quelques jours à San Gil ou si vous avez tout simplement envie de quitter la pollution et l'excitation du centre ville quelques instants, vous pourrez vous y ressourcez et découvrir des nouvelles espèces de plantes.
