Pure Lapland is a local, family-run business based in Rovaniemi, committed to nature and animal welfare. It offers authentic experiences all year round: dog sledding, snowmobiling, aurora hunting, ice fishing, canoeing under the midnight sun, quad biking... All activities are supervised by passionate guides, concerned with safety and the environment. For each visitor, a tree is planted. Located at the Metsähirvas Hotel, Pure Lapland is an excellent starting point for exploring the Arctic.

Pure Lapland is a family-run company offering small-group and private adventures year-round. Would you prefer to feel the adrenaline rush while riding a snowmobile or a quad bike, get cuddly with huskies, or embrace the serenity of Lappish nature by ice fishing or canoeing? We got it all covered!
Pure Lapland is about clean nature, authentic experiences and genuine atmosphere. We are passionate about sharing the Arctic lifestyle with our guests! Our safari office and husky kennel with real Siberian huskies are located 18 kilometres away from the city centre and other tour companies, ensuring you an exclusive experience.
We aim to provide experiences with safety, quality and sustainability at the forefront. The well-being of nature and animals are our main priorities. Towards every customer we commit to plant a tree.

HUSKY MUSHING (SMALL GROUP)
For hundreds of years dog sleds have moved people around in the Arctic. Hunters, seal hunters, fishermen and later also the post office, police and border guards used this form of transportation, since it was reliable also in difficult conditions. At this joyful escapade you get to drive your own husky sled in the pristine forests. By the open fire, Finnish treats and stories about the charming huskies fill your day with laughter and joy. I bet that after you have met our huskies you will not be surprised why they are one of the most loved animals of the north!
Before the departure, our guide will give you instructions on how to control the sled. Are you ready to adventure?
Activity duration: 2,5 hours
What is included: Thermal clothing (overalls, winter boots, gloves, hat, and wool socks), guidance in English/Finnish and self-driven husky safari (about 7-10 km)
Available:
- Daily at 9:00, 10:30, 12:30 + 14:00 (1.12.-11.1., depending on the snow situation)
- Daily at 10:30, 12:30 + 14:00 (12.1.-31.3., depending on the snow situation)
Price: 189€ / adult, 149€ / child (4 to 12 years). Solo driver + 70€ extra / adult.
Transfer: 50€ / reservation.
Duration including transfers: 3,5 hours
Minimum participant number 2 persons, maximum 8. Please be ready about 10 minutes prior to your scheduled pick up time, thank you!

THRILLING SNOWMOBILE SAFARI (SMALL GROUP)
This safari takes you for an intimate, action-packed adventure with snowmobiles over a beautiful frozen river and into a pristine forest, 30 km away from the city of Rovaniemi and other tour groups. Feel the fresh air in the snowy, untouched nature with a view far to the horizon. During the safari, you get to make stops in the snowy surroundings and take pictures to save the memories forever!
Before the departure, our guide gives you instructions on driving the snowmobile, so no previous experience needed! Driving a snowmobile is easy to learn but requires a valid driver’s license from everyone hopping to the driver’s seat.
Program duration: 2,5 hours
What is included: Thermal clothing (overalls, winter boots, gloves, wool socks, balaclava), guidance in English/Finnish, snowmobile equipment, traffic insurance (maximum personal liability €1000), snacks
Available: Daily at 9:00 and 12:30 (1.12. - 31.3., depending on the snow situation).
Price: 149€ / adult and 94€ / child (4 to 12 years). Solo driver + 50€ extra / adult.
Please take a valid driver’s license with you. Child’s price entitles to a seat in a sled pulled by the guide’s snowmobile. Children over 140 cm in height are allowed to sit on the snowmobile behind an adult, when paying the adult price. Minimum participant number 2 people, maximum 10. Please be ready about 10 minutes prior to your scheduled pickup time.

De retour à la ferme, nous avons pu câliner les chiens et là aussi, des photos et des vidéos ont été prises. Après une visite guidée de la ferme et beaucoup de belles histoires sur les huskies (Nikki a vraiment perdu son cœur pour les huskies et cela se voit), nous avons pris le thé et le pain d'épices dans un tipi.
Une journée formidable et nous n'hésiterions pas à passer par de petits organisateurs buchen☺️
Le point fort était que Jay a tourné des vidéos avec un drone que l'on pouvait acheter à la fin - une Erinnerung♥️???? vraiment unique
