MUSHING HUSKY (PETIT GROUPE)
Dog sleds have been moving people around the Arctic for hundreds of years. Hunters, sealers, fishermen and later also the post office, police and border guards used this means of transport, as it was reliable even in difficult circumstances. On this joyful escapade, you'll drive your own husky sled through pristine forests. By the open fire, Finnish treats and stories about the charming huskies fill your day with laughter and joy. I bet after meeting our huskies, you won't be surprised to learn why they're one of the North's most beloved animals!
Before departure, our guide will give you instructions on how to control the sled. Are you ready for adventure?

DAY TRIP TO THE FROZEN KOROUOMA WATERFALLS
Come with us for this unforgettable experience of seeing the waterfalls in the Korouoma nature reserve! We'll provide warm clothing so you can simply enjoy these incredible views without having to worry about the cold.
Our guide will take us about 100 km from Rovaniemi. The snow-covered landscape of the Korouoma canyon, with its unspoilt Lapland forest and small river, is breathtaking and can be admired on a hike. The Korouoma canyon is one of Lapland's greatest natural attractions.
We can also see frozen waterfalls, quite unique here in Finland. The area from Korouoma to Posio is perfect for a day trip on foot. There are several campfire sites in the area, and barbecues are included in the price.
Available: Wednesdays and Saturdays from 9.30 a.m. to 3.30 p.m. (1.12.2023-30.4.2024).

To drive a snowmobile, a valid driving license is required. The child rate entitles children to a seat in a sled pulled by a snowmobile driven by the guide.
Children over 140 cm tall are allowed to sit on the snowmobile behind an adult, paying the adult price.
The transfer is available and our pick-up points are Santa's Holiday Village, Husky Park and Glass Resort around 9.00am and 12.30pm, Hostel Café Koti around 9.10am and 12.40pm. The cost of the transfer is €30/reservation.

Description
This safari takes you on an intimate, action-packed snowmobile adventure through Lapland's beautiful frozen river surrounded by pristine forest, 30 km from the town of Rovaniemi and other tour groups. Feel the fresh air in untouched, snow-covered nature, with a distant view of the horizon. During the safari, you can make stops in the snowy surroundings and take photos on your camera to save the memories forever!
Before setting off, our guide will give you tips on snowmobile driving, so no previous experience is necessary! Driving a snowmobile is easy to learn, but requires a valid driving license from everyone behind the wheel. Please bring your license (or a photo of your license) with you to the safari.
