Of all colours, for all palates: black, milk, or white, in bars or to be eaten immediately, truffles to lick your fingers, not to mention the famous chocolate fondant and assorted ice creams! And this small chocolate factory from 2005 won a silver and bronze medal in 2019 for two of its chocolates at the International Chocolate Award.

After having been a famous bakery in Porvoo since 1871, this family business started in 1928 with what would make it famous throughout the country: the production of chocolate and other sweets, including national liquorice. Today, the shop in the historic centre of Porvoo offers a whole host of treats and for sure, you won't leave empty-handed! On site, you can taste some of their specialities, chocolate truffles and "Kiss". You can even visit the small factory in Teollisuustie.

Simply magical! Porvoo is an ideal city for Christmas shopping. The old town then abounds with shops offering handicrafts, art, paintings, chocolate, mustard, Christmas fish. We warm up with mulled wine and gingerbread cookies, listening to street musicians. There is really a special atmosphere here, especially in the old town - something of a small village of yesteryear! And the advantage over Helsinki is also its attendance. There are far fewer people here!
