The house has a number of quality craft and souvenir shops, including MadeBy Helsinki and the Vieno Puustjärvi shop, which specialises in wooden jewellery, which is rather successful and inexpensive. Also known as the old town hall, it is one of the neo-classical style buildings in the Senate Square.
