ALASKA BOAT AND KAYAK AUKE

Auke Harbor, nestled at the end of a small protected bay, is the starting point for most water activities. Thus, as in many towns in South-East Alaska, it is possible to sea kayak in complete safety. It is possible to rent one and go on an adventure or to follow an experienced instructor. It is not uncommon to come across seals and dolphins, not to mention the eagles perched on the tops of the fir trees dotting the islands in the bay.
