Museum telling the history of the city with black and white photographs, some old objects and vehicles of the time
This museum is already a curiosity for its location: it is housed in the former Copper River & Northwestern Railroad depot in the historic McCarthy neighborhood. It presents the history of the city through numerous black and white photographs, documents, some old crafts and vehicles used at the time, from the late 1800s to today, and a miniature model of McCarthy. There is also a gift store.

Ce petit musée gratuit représente bien la région, oubliée sauf pour l'extraction des métaux, ce qu'il explique à merveille avec des vieilles photos, des outils et des cartes d'exploitation de la zone. C'est un arrêt intéressant qui peut aussi permettre de se reposer et/ou de se mettre à l'abri si le temps est mauvais.
