ORGANIC OASIS

This is one of the best healthy restaurants in town: an organic oasis, serving sandwiches and dishes with lots of sexy, vitamin-packed ingredients (like kale). Steve Planté, who started the restaurant in the 1980s, believes (spinach-wise) that food is the best natural medicine. The wraps are very recommendable crunchy artisanal patties. The interior is quite dark and the tables are motley, but you can also order takeout. On weekend nights, a small concert is held there.
