This old theater is now open to the public for tours. It serves as the city's cultural, artistic and educational center and is regularly used as an exhibition space for various cultural events. It hosts local concerts and plays. First opened in 1909, the theater showed the first silent films. After a fire in 1919, the building was completely rebuilt in baroque style and officially recognized as a historic architectural monument in 1976.
