FUERTE CONDE DE MIRASOL

Slightly in retreat from the coast, on the heights of Isabel Segunda, cut this little fort, emblematic of the city. Its construction is important, since it is the last fort erected by the Spanish in the region. Today it houses the most complete museum on the history of the island, including rooms dedicated to the pre-Columbian or colonial period.
