It is located 61 km from Treinta y Tres, on the 17 km 54 road, on the banks of the Cebollatí River. With its real name of Pueblo General Enrique Martinez, this village has about 1,500 inhabitants year-round and is a must-see for those who love fishing, nature and tranquility. It is the only port in the department that is located on the Cebollatí River. It is possible to reach the Merín Lagoon by boat (2 hours, 26 km). During this excursion, you can stop at small beaches, fish for bagres and cook them over a wood fire. There is a complex with cabañas and a municipal campground on the banks of the river Cebollatí.
