PLAZA JOSE HARGAIN

This place is located close to the port area where the city was originally founded. In 1859, French Basque José Hargain from Gualeguaychú established his Hotel and became one of Fray Bentos's first inhabitants. The square preserved a bygone charm of the th century. You can see the hotel du Basques and its house.
