CASA DE LAS MASCARAS

On the main street of the city, discover the yellow and blue colored walls of the very popular "House of Masks", built in 1887, where masks made by the legendary Juan Artega, nicknamed "Don Paco", are hung. A mason by profession, he used snails, shells and stones to create these works whose expressions were carved according to his state of mind. Today, the house is maintained by Don Paco's relatives and houses many unique pieces.
