A historic ryokan frequented by Ito Hirobumi, Japanese Prime Minister of the Meiji period, and became very popular in the 1920s. It exudes an atmosphere of luxury and perfect fullness in the middle of the forest. The various baths all offer incredible settings, in addition to the classic baths. The beautifully designed rooms all have their own special character: river view, private bath, verandah, group room. Dinner and breakfast are served in the rooms. Such a setting encourages wonder.
