In Nō-ji is known for his collection of statues representing the judges of hell. They are the ones who decide on the reincarnation of each. Their realistic and frightening expressions are supposed to deter any bad action. The originals are located at the Beaux Museum of Fine Arts in the centre of Kamakura.
