In this museum, founded in 1966 and located on the 9th floor of the Imperial Theatre, one can admire a collection of paintings, prints (ukiyo-e) and other calligraphies. Among the wonders to be discovered: magnificent pottery and ceramics from Japan, other Asian countries or the Persian world and the Mediterranean. But above all, a famous collection of prints executed by Utamaro, Hokusai, Hiroshige and Moronobu. The collection is enormous and temporary exhibitions are regularly held to present certain aspects of it.
