SUNROUTE PLAZA
Chic hotel offering rooms with a good mattress and matching pillows, plus square poufs in the lobby
In the heart of Shinjuku, this chic hotel is not disappointing. The staff is most helpful and welcoming, the breakfast is rich and full, and the Italian restaurant is always ready to serve freshly prepared dishes. As for the rooms, rarely has one slept on such a good mattress. Pillows are of the same kind. Cleanliness is impeccable, both in the rooms and in the common areas. The square footstools in the reception hall are arranged in such a way as to encourage discussions and meetings. One of the best addresses in its category.

Sunroute Plaza Shinjuku is an excellent choice mainly because of its location.
It is in the heart of Shinjuku, one of the liveliest districts of Tokyo (restaurants galore, shops, gardens, and the impressive town hall are just a few metres away)
Less than 5 minute walk is also Shinjuku Station, a station extremely well giving access any area Tokyo, and is an excellent starting point to explore the rest of Japan.
As far as the hotel, it is difficult to find blame it... Impeccably maintained (at the same time, it is necessary to a long time to find a place dirty or neglected in Japan!), the rooms have a very reasonable size for Japanese rooms, and are perfectly equipped (internet access, flat-screen Tv, double bed, bathtub, toilets Japanese and gadgets that go with, slippers and yukatas supplied), and the hotel very quiet although is located in the Tokyo. In short, perfect for exploring the capital!
