Magnificent lodges and campsites nestled in the Ombokoro Mountains of the central plateau.

Okonjima means "place of baboons". However, this 220 km² nature reserve is most famous for its leopards and brown hyenas. It offers a wide range of accommodation, from private serviced campsites to luxury lodges. Exceptional cuisine, cosy lounge areas with indoor and outdoor fireplaces, tastefully decorated bungalows combining comfort and proximity to the bush... Nous avons commencé notre voyage en Namibie en septembre directement ici et c'était le début parfait que l'on pouvait souhaiter ! Cet endroit est tout simplement exceptionnel. Du personnel incroyablement aimable à la nourriture délicieuse en passant par les fascinants tours proposés, tout était parfait. L'offre est si variée qu'il est presque impossible de tout découvrir en seulement deux jours, ce qui nous oblige à choisir le meilleur - ce qui n'a pas été facile pour nous. L'hébergement était spacieux, confortable et offrait une vue imprenable sur l'enclos, particulièrement inoubliable la nuit. Nous aurions aimé pouvoir rester plus longtemps !

Malheureusement, nous n'avons passé que deux nuits à l'Okonjima Plains Camp au début de l'année. Nous avons vécu une expérience inoubliable. Les safaris pour voir les léopards et les rhinocéros étaient particulièrement beaux. La visite d'AfriCat et des guépards était également très intéressante. Nous avons pris beaucoup de photos. La nourriture était excellente. Le personnel était très sympathique et arrangeant. Notre logement, la "View Room", offrait une vue fantastique sur la savane. Merci pour ces expériences extraordinaires (en particulier à Felix, notre chauffeur), dont nous nous souviendrons longtemps. Nous reviendrons sans aucun doute ! Okonjima est un endroit que l'on ne veut pas quitter.

Superbe View-Room, super service, organisé de manière professionnelle ! Repas solides dans une ambiance cool. Diverses possibilités : Des randonnées guidées aux drives avec léopard. Très intéressant, participation recommandée. Conseil : Guide Asser était super ! Rester au moins deux nuits.
