The Henckers Tourist Centre provides some information about the area for tourists passing through, but you won't learn much more than in this guide. The main focus here is on a wide range of handicrafts and semi-precious stones from Namibia, as well as jewellery from other African countries. Ultimately, it is as much a souvenir shop as it is an information centre. A convenient stopover to buy some souvenirs at a more affordable price than in Windhoek and to stretch your legs.
